I’d like to introduce the gorgeous Talai, proud owner of @tigerlily_beauty 🌺

I first met Talai in the February of 2023. She booked onto the Complete Lash & Brow Technician with Gel Polish as a complete beginner looking for a career change. With a background of support work, she had always loved the idea of becoming a beautician and working in a predominantly female industry.

As a new mum, with a 15 month old little girl, her goal was to become self employed in order to work completely flexible hours around her daughter and increase her earning potential.

As soon as Talai completed the course, she set up at home and started building her client base, and after only 5 months she joined a lovely salon in St Austell called @studioninecornwall ✨

Fast forward to today, almost 2 years after the day she started training with me, Talai can definitely say she has reached her goal. A successful beautician, working part time whilst bringing up her daughter, with new visions for her future within the industry. One day she hopes to open her very own beauty salon and also share her knowledge with others.

This is the advice she would give someone who is thinking about doing a course..

💬 Just keep going even though it can feel super tough in the beginning and disheartening! Eventually doing treatments, especially lash extensions just becomes muscle memory! It won’t be difficult forever. If it’s something you’ve been thinking about doing but worry about lacking confidence, just do it and jump in, you won’t regret it! Once you’ve done your course, practice practice, practice! 💖💖
